The building was huge, even by Warren's standards and as he stood there, in front of those huge gates, he wondered if he really did want to do this. Thinking over it all one last time, the blonde mutant nodded to himself and dropped one bag, pushing open the gate. Picking up the dropped bag he began his trek down the driveway to the large wooden doors. So many questions raced through his mind, for he never had met another mutant, not being closed in for the last few years of school. What could the others do? Did they look different?
A wave of nervousness hit and not for the first time. He could feel the goose bumps rise on his arms and neck as he got closer and closer to his new....school. Still he was happy to experience something new, even if it was nerve racking. Stray gravel crunched underneath his shoes as he shuffled forward. Warren almost tripped once, but thankfully he was able to catch himself in time before creaming himself on the pavement. Finally he got to the steps, and looked to his bags, then back to the steps...
Dropping the bags at the same time, the winged mutant hopped up the steps and rang the doorbell. He adjusted his jacket, and the shirt underneath, for both wings had settled in a slightly awkward position, one of then even had an itch, that had been driving the poor boy slightly mad. "I wonder who answers the door..." he mused aloud as he waited. It wouldn't be a butler or anything like that, for it was a school. What school had a butler?

Disatisfied, bored, even annoyed a little bit, Kitty was lurking about the mansion. Tired of sitting at her computer, bored of her X-box. She had decided to go with her gut, and get something to snack on. She had sensed the kitchen in her mind, although she was not even within eyeshot of it yet. She'd imagined the scenario in her mind quite vividly.
There it would be, the peanut butter, the jam, the bread. All pleasantly presented neatly, at the front of the fridge for her leisure, where she would proceed to make like the best sandwich... ever. The feeling of the handle of the fridge door, all the food in the fridge, she imagined what it would really be like. The bread, she knew that'd be easy to get at but the jam was most likely hidden in the depths of the fridge and the peanut butter, if there was even any left, Kitty was counting her lucky stars.
As she dreamed of sandwiches and ice cream, her reality came back with a sudden ring, the ring of the doorbell. She'd blinked, looking at the direction of the door, she was instantly curious of who it was. Heading to the door she opened it with a certainly curious look on her face which suddenly became a puddle of teenage surprise.
The striking figure before her was tall, he was handsome... he might have even been perfect. "Are you an angel..." she blinked surprised, her cheeks red as roses. "Okay that is so not how to answer the door..." she saw his bags and instantly assumed he was a new recruit.
"Come in!" She said as she held the door open for him. She felt giddy, a bit too excited. She felt so embarrassed that she was so flushed. But he'd caught her completely off guard.

The door had opened to reveal a small brunette and the first words out of her mouth caused Warren to smile, and almost laugh. He waited until she had finished speaking before hopping back down the steps to retreive his luggage, and then retracing his steps, walking through the door turning as he looked back at her, still grinning, "Hi to you too," Dropping one bag again he extended a hand. "I'm Warren." If everyone was as interesting as the girl standing before him then this year would definitely be interesting. It gave him a sense of hope, that it wouldn't be anything like it was at home, even at his old prep school.
Studying her for a moment with his blue eyes, he finally caught the blush on her face and blinked. She seemed very surprised at his presence, did the Professor not tell them that he was coming? A slight look of worry crossed his features and he had to ask, "Um, was I not...expected? The Professor did just visit me a few days ago, and I did let him know that I was coming...." He trailed off. Well didn't he sound cool, yay for sounding so very informed...not.
Suddenly the itching got far to annoying, and the blonde mutant just couldn't ignore it anymore. Dropping the other bag, while saying, "Excuse me." He whipped off his jacket, letting it fall to the floor. Reaching over he scratched the itch, and then stretched slightly before relaxing again. "That’s much better." Warren said to himself more than the girl. His wings settled shortly after looking back at his new acquaintance, the white feathers where slightly ruffled at being stuffed under a jacket all day, kinda how Warren felt at the moment.

"I knew a new student was arriving..." she started, "I just didn't expect him to arrive while I was off in dream land about PB and J." She said somewhat nervously, she was already trifled enough before he took off his jacket, stretching his wings. Her eyes shot out in surprise, though admiration. He was beautiful. Truly stunning, the wings, everything. He was an Angel...
"This is going to sound totally lame, but are you sure you didn't fall from heaven or something." she began to jest, "I think you found the wrong house." she just smirked, surprised again by his wings.
"Well if you're expected, you're room is probably already ready for you. I could, help you find it if you'd like?" she sounded like she was trying to talk her self out of doing it... but she knew that by process of elimination she was the only one around to help him. Sandwiches would have to wait.

Warren did end up laughing, "Well I didn't fall from heaven, but I have fallen out of a few trees..." he shrugged. "speaking of PB and J, I wouldn't mind having a sandwich. In all honesty, he hadn't eaten before, during or after the plane ride there and the sound of food was making his tummy growl. He smiled, "After I get my stuff to my room, of course....not that I couldn't lug these bags around, but I'd probably break something." With that being said he arranged his jacket across one bag and then picked both up again.
"I didn't catch your name by the way." Warren didn't want to end up saying "hey you" when asking her anything. It was like rude sounding at the least and most people preferred their names. Warren knew that he would have appreciated the same if their places were switched.
As he waited for her name he allowed himself to study her once more and found, that he thought her quite cute. It made him slightly more nervous, and the slight jump of adrenaline didn't help things either. As he looked, he also wondered, questions filled his mind about not only about her, but the school, the other students and so on. Since she did go to this school she would be the perfect person to answer some of the things he had wanted to know about. Even though the inquiries threatened to spill forth, the blonde managed to keep his mouth shut for the moment.

Kitty laughed when he joked about falling out of trees. She wasn't even sure if he was meaning it as a joke. As he began to question her she blushed again, Kitty couldn't believe she'd forgotten to introduce herself. "Sorry, I'm such a klutz, My name is Kitty. It's nice to meet you Warren." she extended her hand for a brief handshake.
Once they were past she lead him from the entryway through what would've felt like a small labrynth of hallways to what was the male dormitory. "One of these doors will have your name on it..." she stopped and looked. "This must be it..."
She opened the door to a room which was big enough that it was supposed to be shared by two people but the school didn't quite have enough students that it required roommates just yet. "Wow, My room is so cluttered, your room looks gigantic empty." she said with a smile. "I never realized how huge these bedrooms are..."

(very sorry for the late response, I have been quite sick for a few weeks)
Warren dropped his bags by the bed and took in the sight of what would be his "Home" for the next year at least. It was on the small side compared to what the blonde was used to, but hey it could be a good thing. Turning to Kitty he smiled, "Thanks for showing me, even though you were on that mission to get a sandwich." He ran a hand through his hair, "Speaking of which, I am hungry. Is there a...kitchen?" In a huge building like this here must be something that resembled one.
There were probably many rooms, and facilities that he just didn't know of yet. He figured that he could and most likely would get lost at some point. Warren was happy that he met Kitty, she seemed like she had been here quite a while. "I'm curious, what is your mutation?" He hadn't seen anything out right, and figured it must be something that wasn't visible, at least not at the moment.

"Oh there's a kitchen..." Kitty said with certain earnestly, she was quite hungry after all. Warren was hungry too then the next stop was obvious in her mind. After they were done at his room she lead them back the way they had came towards the dormitories. "My mutation?" she stopped and smiled looking to Warren for a moments.
Her mutation wasn't as flashy as Warrens or even as Bobby's but she thought it was really cool as it was. "Now you see it..." she said waving her hand before waving it through the wall elbow deep. "Now you don't." she leaned into the wall and back out. "I can 'phase' through things... If its electronic it messes its circuitry up and if it's a person well... It feels kind of weird." she said with a smirk.
"Its not that powerful but I think its neat... when its not like, completely frustrating."
