Name: Roxanne Danemburg
Code Name: G-Force
Affiliation: Xmen
Age:28
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 150
Hair color: Burnt red
Eye color: Hazel
General Appearance: Roxy tends to have a somewhat sporty look to her. Her shirt is normally some kind of tank top that is very form fitting and long but is covered with a jacket that is never zipped up all the way. Her pants are baggy and hang onto her body by her waist with a belt. The tank top is normally tucked in so the pants fit nicely over it.
Seeing as she is very active, her hair is normally in a pony tail with her bangs swished to the side. Her eyes have a beautiful almond shape to them and the hazel color only adds to her natural beauty. She doesn’t wear much make up because she doesn’t like it and it becomes a bit messy when fighting, but during magic performances, she has been known to doll herself up a bit.
Personality: Happy….just generally happy. At least that’s how Roxanne sees herself and most people might agree. She loves making people wonder about her and her abilities, so she never really goes all out in a fight, leaving people wondering what she will do next. This is also why she is a street performer. While she is a fantastic fighter when it comes to her powers, she is really more laid back about it and won’t fight unless attacked first. But once in a fight, she sees it as an opportunity to strengthen her powers.
A side that few people see (but many villains and students did see) is her angry side. The teens of the mansion know how to work her nerves and when she loses her temper, the whole mansion knows it. Roxy, (unlike a teacher she butts heads with often, Terry) isn't afraid to discipline the students with her powers, and lord help the student who pisses her off before a danger room session.
X-Factor: Controls Gravity
Power Details: Roxanne has control over gravity within a half mile long diameter and she can control it’s amount of pulling or pushing. Normally she doesn’t have her gravity “on” per say. She can control when she wants and doesn’t want to use it, unless she is emotional. When in an emotional state of mind, her powers may act on their own. She can force the gravity out of a specific part of her body too. This means that when she kicks or punches she can form a small shield of gravity over the part of her body that is attacking which can in turn, make her punch or kick even more severe.
She can also make a small ball of gravity which she can swing around herself within a 60 foot diameter. That ball can either push or pull people towards itself so she can drag an opponent around for a while, letting them hit whatever is in her path. 60 feet is the absolute limit for using this ball of gravity. This control of gravity also allows Roxy to levitate herself, but she can only levitate a maximum of half a mile off of something. This 'something' has to be a solid object.
General Skills: She knows some boxing because of her father and of course knows a thing or two about magic.
Brief History: Daddy's little girl...and daddy was a boxer. It goes without saying that Roxanne was a bit of a tomboy. She followed her dad everywhere, as long as it wasn't out of town. When he was home they were stuck at the hip. Her loving parents made for a great environment to raise an only child. Her childhood was spent with days watching dad train at the gym or watching him in the arena (in real life or on T.V.) Boxing had always been part of her family. Even her great great grandfather was a boxer. But boxing was a cruel sport and Roy wouldn't hear of his baby girl being in such a fierce sport. Which in the long run, was fine with Roxanne, she liked watching it, but never fully understood the rules. During middle school and high school she was the girl on the soccer team who no one really spoke with. She wasn't mean or anything(although she did have a slight temper), she was just intimidating. With her dad being a famous boxer, no one tried to mess with her, especially the boys. All the lack of attention at school made her yearn for more.
She loved learning little magic tricks and showing off for her parents, but she also liked her down time. Sometimes she just stayed in her room in their upscale Manhattan apartment, playing on the internet or with the latest video games. Everyone gets mad at games, right? Well, one day, her junior year of high school, she was playing a game on her play station and she got a little mad after loosing a fight. In a fit of anger she punched the chair next to her, which normally ended with her hand hurting and sometimes bleeding, if she had punched hard enough. But this time was different. Her hand felt nothing and still the chair had gone flying against the wall, a leg breaking off from the force. Her parents came rushing up to see what the noise was from. She said she accidentally tripped on the chair. Not quite sure what happened, she tried it again, only less of a force behind it. She tried flicking a notebook. Normally, that might make it move a few inches at most and made your nail feel tingly, but yet again she felt nothing and watched the notebook go flying. She thought it best to not tell her parents.
When she turned 18, her father caught her mother in bed with another man and her mom admitted that this had been going on for almost the entirety of their marriage and that she had even had another mans child while Roxy was a one year old and Roy was gone for 7 months. The father had been raising him, and the boys name was James. Turned out that James and Roxanne attended the same high school. Afterwards, they became good friends, hanging out at and after school. Roxanne, infuriated by her mothers actions, disowned her mother, and hasn’t spoken to her since. After high school, Roxanne went on to get a degree in Performance arts from N.Y.U. with a minor in business. At age 24 she opened her own magic shop, which many big name magicians go to, if not for supplies then for fun, or for their TV specials, if they had one. She opened it in a small town called Bayville, she didn’t want to be in the big city anymore, mostly cause she was tired of it, but also because her “mother” still lived there. She’s been in Bayville for a year now and her shop is very popular. She had been practicing her powers in privacy for all the years, but she NEVER uses her powers during her shows. There are a few underground people who know of her powers, but would never say it, cause she has a secret or two of theirs, so she knows she’s safe, especially in Bayville. At age 27 Charles Xavier contacted her, and explained his school to her. Roxy liked the idea of help kids, especially since she knew what it was like to not have help with powers growing up, after all, how difficult could teens be?
